Electric epilation is a hair removal method that uses electric current to destroy individual hair follicles. This method is also known as electrolysis. The goal is to reduce and eventually stop hair growth in the long term by damaging the hair roots.
The operation of electric epilation is based on the use of a very fine needle that is inserted into the hair follicle. A small electrical current is then passed through the needle, generating heat. This heat destroys the hair follicle, disrupting hair growth.
